Working my way through Pitchfork's top 200 albums of the 2000s: http://pitchfork.com/features/staff-lists/7706-the-top-200-albums-of-the-2000s-200-151/1/
First one I clicked was 196. William Basinski, which proved to be awesome ambient accompaniment to the next item. Nice! You can click on the Lala link on pitchfork to start the whole album. And yes. It continues being very similar throughout.
